Coaching and Consulting
Our Neuro Network is planning to provide remote coaching and consulting services for individuals and families navigating complex neurologic, neurovascular, and neurometabolic conditions, including cerebral venous and CSF disorders. These services will be informed by professional expertise as well as lived experience as a patient and family member, and are designed to support clarity, preparation, and self-advocacy within the healthcare system.
Coaching and consulting services will provide medically informed guidance and strategic support but will not constitute medical care or establish a provider–patient relationship.
Service Philosophy & Availability
Coaching and consulting services will be available nationwide and internationally. To provide the highest quality of personalized attention for complex cases, the volume of this work will be intentionally limited. This approach reflects both clinical intention and lived experience, allowing for depth, presence, and thoughtful engagement in each interaction while continuing to develop a sustainable, neuro APRN-led transitions of care model for complex neurological conditions.
As a result, this work will be specialized and limited in quantity, but designed to provide meaningful, high-quality support. Priority will be given to individuals with cerebral venous and CSF disorders and related conditions, including intracranial pressure disorders such as intracranial hypertension, intracranial hypotension, and CSF leak.
How Coaching and Consulting Works
Coaching and consulting services will be offered through a foundational session designed to provide adequate time for understanding your history, reviewing relevant records, and addressing your goals without pressure.
Some individuals may choose to continue with periodic follow-up conversations after the initial session, while others may find that one conversation provides the clarity they need. Both approaches will be welcome.
Services May Include:
Education and explanation of diagnoses, testing, and care pathways.
Review, organization, and synthesis of records and imaging provided by the client.
Pattern recognition across symptoms, history, and testing.
Preparation for medical appointments, procedures, or second opinions.
Care navigation and self-advocacy support.
Thoughtful discussion to support understanding, confidence, and decision-making.
These services will be educational and consultative in nature and do not constitute medical care, radiology interpretation, diagnosis, treatment, or establishment of a provider–patient relationship.
Note: Relevant record and imaging review will be included as part of coaching and consulting services and is not billed separately or tracked by time. This reflects a commitment to comprehensive, integrative support rather than a piecemealed model of care.
You will be provided a secure Google Drive link to upload your records.
You will be provided a secure Purview Image link to upload your images.
You will be sent a secure link to a Client Questionnaire to complete through Google Forms.
You will be sent a secure link to a Coaching and Consultation Consent for to complete through Google Forms.
We will request that you upload all records, images, and forms for review within 1 week of your appointment date so that adequate time can be devoted to reviewing your records.
Completion of the Client Questionnaire and Consent forms will be necessary to proceed with your scheduled appointment. Failure to complete them by your appointment date will result in cancellation of your appointment. You will be able to reschedule your appointment once your forms are complete.

Services
90-Minute Initial Comprehensive Coaching and Consulting Session
The Initial Comprehensive Coaching and Consulting Session will be the entry point for all new coaching and consulting clients. This session will provide adequate time for complex histories, extensive records, and meaningful discussion.
Some individuals will choose to continue with periodic follow-up conversations after the initial session for additional reflection, preparation, or ongoing support.
Follow-up sessions may be scheduled as needed and include up to 30 days of complimentary asynchronous messaging support via Google Chat related to the session.
Focused Neuroscience Imaging Consultation
The Focused Neuroscience Imaging Consultation will provide focused educational insight into a specific imaging study or imaging-related concern without booking a full comprehensive coaching and consulting session.
This service will include independent review of submitted imaging and radiology reports through a neuroscience and neurovascular-focused coaching and consulting framework informed by extensive experience in neurocritical care, neurovascular disease, and complex neurological conditions.
Consultations may include discussion of imaging patterns, symptom correlation, relevant scientific literature, and considerations or questions to explore further with your treating medical team.
This service will include:
Review of one primary imaging study with concise written educational consultation summary supported by Purview Image.
Focused educational imaging discussion via 20–30 minute virtual consultation session.
This service will be more narrow in scope than the Initial Comprehensive Coaching and Consulting Session and will be intended for focused imaging-related discussion rather than broad longitudinal case synthesis or extensive records review.
Equitable Access
A limited number of Equitable Access appointments will be available to support individuals experiencing financial barriers.
This option will be designed to preserve access to thoughtful guidance and strategic support while maintaining the same level of attention and quality provided in all sessions.
Equitable Access rates will be offered in a respectful and individualized manner. Individuals experiencing financial strain related to medical or life circumstances are welcome to select this option.
No documentation will be required. Requests will be handled with discretion and respect.

Scope and Limitations
Coaching and consulting services will be non-clinical and advisory in nature. These services will be medically informed and draw on professional training, clinical experience, and lived experience to support understanding, preparation, and navigation of complex medical situations. They will be designed to help clients ask informed questions and engage more confidently with their healthcare teams.
Coaching and consulting services will not include:
Establishment of a provider–patient relationship
Medical diagnosis or treatment
Prescribing medications or ordering laboratory or diagnostic testing
Acting as a treating clinician or assuming responsibility for medical decision-making
Emergency or urgent medical care
Clients are encouraged to discuss all medical decisions, diagnoses, and treatment plans with their licensed healthcare providers. Coaching and consulting services are designed to complement, not replace, care provided by a treating medical team.
Records and Access
Our Neuro Network CANNOT legally or ethically access healthcare portals or imaging systems via username or password sharing. Medical records, reports, and images will need to be provided directly by the client using a secure upload link provided after booking.
Community Voices and Accessibility
We recognize that cost can be a barrier to care, particularly for individuals navigating complex and often under-recognized neurological conditions.
The Our Neuro Network Podcast centers lived experience, shared knowledge, and collective strength. Participation in the podcast is always offered at no cost and reflects a commitment to advocacy, connection, and amplifying patient voices.
Podcast participation will be separate from coaching and consulting services. Coaching and consulting services will be offered independently to ensure clarity, integrity, and sustainability of care. Individuals who wish to engage in coaching and consulting services will be welcome to do so through standard booking.
Podcast guests are selected thoughtfully based on community need, relevance, and alignment with the mission of Our Neuro Network. Volunteering or expressing interest does not guarantee selection.
This pathway exists because the need is real, because your story matters, and because meaningful healing often begins with being seen, heard, and supported. Together, we can do meaningful work for our community and serve as active catalysts for the change we wish to see for individuals and families navigating acute, chronic, and complex neurologic conditions within a fragmented healthcare system.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Appointments will be reserved intentionally due to the limited and specialized nature of services provided.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice will be requested to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Changes may be made using the link provided at the time of scheduling.
We recognize that many individuals we serve are living with complex neurological conditions, including fluctuations in cognition, pain, fatigue, and autonomic function. If you experience a change in your condition that affects your ability to attend or participate in your appointment, we will ask that you let us know as soon as your are able.
Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in forfeiture of the session fee or applicable charges, consistent with practice policy. Consideration may be given in the setting of medical or neurological exacerbation.
Payment will be required prior to the start of your session to confirm your appointment.
This policy is intended to support both access to care and responsible allocation of limited clinical resources.
